Here are a couple answers to some questions you may have when joining the site or if you haven't used a particular feature before. If We have missed anything that you think should be here, just let us know! Thanks!

FUN STUFF

Menus:

There are 2 menus here. There is one for the Guests and Registered users and there is one is just for Registered Users.

1. The *TOP* menu on the site is for everyone (Guests and Registered users) which contains all the links to all of the stuff on the site... You name it, mixes, tracks, profiles, leaderboard, videos... This is where everyone can go to find everything on the site.
2. The *RIGHT* menu is for Registered users only and is for adding stuff to the site. This menu is on the right side of the site and you only see it when you login. Before you add anything just make sure you have all the details right the first time. Have fun!

FUNKY STUFF

Adding stuff to the site:

You have to be registered to do so. If you are and you want to add something, hopefully you have come here first. If you've been here go to the form that you will use to add what ever you are adding to the site. Each form has examples and tool tips that you can put your mouse over. It will tell you what you need to enter. Some of the more involved forms have been defined here to help you out a bit more.

Adding a Choicetrax track:

When you add a choicetrax track you are actually adding a link to the track on FunkyHouseBeats from Choicetrax. You add these types of tracks so you can share the tracks you like. Once they are added here, everyone can listen, rate and buy from Choicetrax. It is really neat!

Here are the steps:

1. Login to FHB with your account
2. Click on the menu item *Add Choicetrax*
3. A new tab will open and you will be at the choicetrax homepage
4. Login to Choicetrax
5. Search for the tracks you want to add
6. Now when the results are returned, the track will either have a Stompy, Traxsouce, Primal and Beatport logo or all 4. Which ever site you want to pull the track from, click on that logo
7. A new window will open up. You will see the FHB logo. Click the FHB logo
8. Now you are back on FHB will all the details filled out about the track. Just put in a review and click submit.
9. Now the track is available to the FHB users on our site!
10. Enjoy

Uploading a Mix / Adding a Mix link:

1. When you Upload a mix to the site you are actually uploading the MP3 file here and providing the details of the mix.
2. When you are adding a Mix link to the site you are just providing the details to an already hosted MP3 file.

Adding a Youtube Video to the site:

Once you have found the video you want, copy and paste the ID part of the Youtube URL. A Youtube URL looks something like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xnfz65VNBw. Just copy is the end part after the = (equal sign). That is the Youtube ID part of the URL. In this example that would be -xnfz65VNBw

Competitions:

We have these about every 2-3 months or sometimes on a holiday. We love giving stuff away then... and all you have to do is be here really!

blogTV (Adding Your blogTV show, Pimping my blogTV, ill House Saturday co-host):

This is probably the best part of the site some would say. We love it here and it really helps out the DJs a lot. Check it out for yourself.

1. When you add your blogTV show you are adding your show here so people can view it, rate it and comment on the show. It is available to everyone.
2. When you Pimp out your blogTV you are requesting to have your weekly show put on the homepage. It will be done as long as it is open and you are live
3. When you request to co-host the ill House Saturday show you will be playing live with me on Saturday between 2pm - 4pm EST (GMT-5) from the FunkyHouseBeats channel
